Although the square does not contain any bars on restaurants (for those visit Savignyplatz), it is still worth visiting because of interesting architecture surrounding it.
On the square itself there is a monument consisting of two stones, dedicated to the victims of Stalinism and National Socialism.

The main building on the square is the Berlin University of the Arts (Universität der Künste Berlin), a monumental structure located on the northern side of Hardenbergstraße.
